The suckling pig served at the Montimar Restaurant has been voted one of the best dishes in the world by The Guardian on several occasions. That must mean something. And we can agree that the rustic restaurant of Guillermo and Catalina in the remote west coast village of Estellencs is worth a visit. It is best to park at the entrance of the village and combine the last few metres with a walk through the pretty village. When you arrive at the terrace, you should of course order the suckling pig. Also delicious alternatives are the rabbit with onions and the sea bass baked in salt. In addition a glass of the house wine, which by the way comes from the small vineyard behind the house and one feels a little, as if one would be straight with his mallorquin grandmother to visit – marvellous!
